With a Masters Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a Law Degree from the University of Baltimore, Christopher vanRoden has been a member of the Maryland Bar since 1985.

He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, Maryland State and Harford County Bar Associations, as well as the Family Law Sections of the American and Maryland State Bar Associations.

He is a past Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Practice Section of the Maryland Bar Association. He is active in community affairs and has served on the Board of Directors of Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center (SARC) in Bel Air, Maryland.

Mr. vanRoden has been recognized by the Harford County Bar Foundation for his pro bono representation of indigent Harford County residents in need of legal services.
